Fixed program Day 1-8

Part 1: Culture and traditions Benin
Introduction to the age-old culture, to the rich and authentic universe of the people of Benin, to their daily activities in the field and in the outdoor kitchens; visit typical towns and villages departing from the economic capital Cotonou, enjoy various landscapes and sights.

Part 2: Projects Hubi & Vinciane Foundation
Presentation of various Foundation projects in the Borgou region, visit to Innovation Center CIAP (Center d’innov’action Parakou); tour of hospital pavilions and explanation by doctors and staff of the hospitals; welcome in school with a word of explanation from the management and teachers, a visit to farmers who took part in the agricultural program, a guided visit to the Sokounon training farm and fields in the villages

Optional: 2 extra days in the North of Benin
Introduction to the history, customs and lifestyle of the Tatas with a visit to their villages and the famous Tatas Sombas, called palaces of the Savannah.

Cost price: the prices for transport and accommodation are as a guide price, but may change.

  • Transport: Flight with Brussels Airlines – price varies from 700 – 770 euros (Humanitarian rate via the Hubi & Vinciane Foundation)
  • Price of the trip on site: an average of 125 euros per day – 1250 euros
