Introduction: The Centre is an initiative of the Parakou City Council and is supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and some other partners.

This initiative aims to improve the socio-economic status of women and optimize the development of agriculture and artisanal activities in the city of Parakou.

CAMFP offers girls and women from Parakou and the surrounding area training on the processing of agricultural products and assists them in selling the products. With the intention of making them independent.

The project: further expansion of the centre. Between 2016 and 2018, the Foundation, together with its financial partner Turing Foundation, invested in a new classroom with furniture, a small kitchen, sanitary facilities, a basin for fish breeding and an irrigation system.

In 2019 the construction of new facilities for the hosting of training courses in making fruit juices, was started.
