Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a need for more professional and quality primary health care in Benin, especially in the most remote areas. As a Foundation, we want to remedy that deficit through various projects and healthcare commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activities in the field<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its creation in 1982, the Hubi&Vinciane Foundation invested in health care. More specifically, it financially and materially supports its two partner hospitals, Saint-Martin in Papan\u00e9<\/strong> and Saint-Jean-de-Dieu in Boko<\/strong>, and regularly organizes missions with Belgian doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Centre Hospitalier Universitaire et D\u00e9partemental du Borgou<\/strong> has also counted on our support for several years. We also invest in local rural medical centres\u2019 drinking water supplies, infrastructure and equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the major projects currently in the pipeline is the construction of a new maternity ward for the Boko Hospital<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to investing in hospitals and centres, we provide direct support on the ground, in the villages. Our social workers organize well-attended information sessions on various health-related topics, such as hygiene, family planning, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Results<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to our investments, more people can count on quality primary health care in their immediate environment. For example, children suffering from malnutrition are treated free of charge. Pregnant women can go there for pregnancy monitoring and medically controlled safe deliveries<\/p>\n\n\n\n
