The principle remains: the choice between a pleasant recreational route with stopovers or a difficult challenge in the form of a super competition. My World Relief Mission is a non-profit Christian organization that helps people in need by collecting clothes. Part of the clothing is directly redistributed to people in need. The rest is sold and, with the profits made, the Mission d&#8217;Aide au Monde supports projects all over the world, such as the projects of the Hubi &amp; Vinciane Foundation in Benin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"62\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/logo_Materialise_150.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1212\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rock 4 Benin<br><\/strong>Materialise held its annual fundraising event &#8220;Run 4 Benin&#8221; on May 24th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190901_Schilde_Caravan_200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8787\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>World &#8216;dish of the day&#8217; in Schilde<\/strong><br>On June 2nd, GROS Schilde organised a world Stap &amp; Hap. A walk of about 8 km through the municipality led the participants to 6 stops where they got to know projects in the South and local organisations. At each stop, the participant received a tasting or a drink which together formed a world meal. The Foundation&#8217;s &#8220;Dish of the Day&#8221; caravan offered the walkers a place to rest in the shade and a short film during their walk. Everything was highly appreciated by all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"134\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190929_SpaghettiSlag_Geneeskunde_200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8790\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spaghetti Evening for Medical Student Trainees<br><\/strong>The medical students of the KU Leuven who will be doing their internship in &#8220;our&#8221; hospitals from October onwards are organising a spaghetti evening on 29 September for the benefit of the Foundation. We thank the students from the bottom of our hearts and wish them an enriching internship period. They turn their travel preparations into a big spaghetti battle. Their perfectly organized festival brought in a nice penny for the Foundation, for which we thank you very much. We treat you back in Parakou!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"173\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/20190909_WaregemKoerse_sulky_250.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8020\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Waregem Koerse<\/strong> offered 8 companies the opportunity to race for charity during the <strong>Pro Am Horse Race for Charity<\/strong>. For these new trots with double sulky, <strong>Picobello Renting &#8220;Party in style&#8221; <\/strong>from Roeselare chose the Foundation as their partner. The team achieved a nice 6th place and collected a sum of money in favor of our projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/20190909_Container_500.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8029\" width=\"250\" height=\"191\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/20190909_Container_500.jpg 500w, https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/20190909_Container_500-300x229.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Container geladen<\/strong><br>Onder de vakkundige leiding van de medewerkers van <strong>Wereldmissiehulp <\/strong>werd op vrijdag 6 september opnieuw een container geladen met medisch en ander materiaal.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Q2_2019_InDeKijker_Pidpa_250.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1471\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>PIDPA water company<\/strong> wants to actively contribute to ensuring that everyone has access to water. It has therefore made a donation of 1,184 euros to help build a well on the grounds of the Papan\u00e9 Hospital School. Administrator Muriel received a cheque on 17 March at a small party at the Hidrodoe water activity centre in Herentals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Our sporting friends from the Brussels <strong>5th World vzw<\/strong> managed to cover the 160 kilometres between Djougou and Boko by bike in 3 days. The 4th edition of the <strong>Run for Boko<\/strong> was concluded with festivities on 9 May. Their action brought in a record amount of 11,500 euros which will be distributed to the D\u00e2m Koosiabu orphanage and the paediatric service of the St Jean de Dieu hospital in Boko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion of her <strong>85th birthday<\/strong>, Aunt <strong>Magda Goedem\u00e9<\/strong> invited her family and friends to make a contribution to the Foundation. We thank her warmly and wish her many more years of good health!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jan Flamend<\/strong> also shared his <strong>60-candle birthday<\/strong> cake with the Foundation. Congratulations to Jan!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"187\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Q2_2019_AfrikaFestival.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1472\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The Foundation was also present at the <strong>African Film Festival<\/strong> in Leuven (26 April to 11 May). The public showed real interest in our project and our totebags, placemats and pillowcases were easily found.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday 11 May, more than 800 young people came to the playground of the Sint Pieterscollege in Leuven to listen to music by young artists.
