{"id":33964,"date":"2025-09-03T16:02:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T14:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/deux-cents-agriculteurs-font-le-pas-vers-lagroecologie\/"},"modified":"2025-09-03T16:12:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T14:12:07","slug":"two-hundred-farmers-take-the-leap-to-agroecology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/en\/two-hundred-farmers-take-the-leap-to-agroecology\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Hundred Farmers Take the Leap to Agroecology"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the 2025 farming season, two hundred farmers in Borgou received 400 kilos of agroecological seeds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These include green lentils and sesame, donated by our Foundation as part of the <strong>ProSAD project (Promotion of Sustainable Food Systems).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These crops are perfect for semi-arid regions. They restore the soil, fix nitrogen, prevent erosion, and boost biodiversity. And that\u2019s not all: they also provide families with a valuable source of plant-based protein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But this project goes far beyond distributing seeds. It strengthens solidarity among farmers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each participant pledges to pass on part of their harvest to two other farmers in the next season. This way, from two hundred pioneers today, we\u2019ll grow to hundreds more tomorrow \u2014 all farming with respect for the earth and for our health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hubi &amp; Vinciane Foundation proves it: sustainable agriculture is possible.<br>Food security and a healthy environment go hand in hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"425\" src=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/202509_Remise_semences_agroecologiques_06_1200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33956\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/202509_Remise_semences_agroecologiques_06_1200.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/202509_Remise_semences_agroecologiques_06_1200-300x106.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hubi-vinciane.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/202509_Remise_semences_agroecologiques_06_1200-768x272.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces cultures sont id\u00e9ales pour les zones semi-arides. Elles r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e8rent les sols, fixent l\u2019azote, limitent l\u2019\u00e9rosion et favorisent la biodiversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et ce n\u2019est pas tout : elles constituent aussi pour les familles une pr\u00e9cieuse source de prot\u00e9ines v\u00e9g\u00e9tales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais ce projet va bien au-del\u00e0 de la distribution de semences. Il renforce la solidarit\u00e9 entre les agriculteurs. Chaque participant s\u2019engage \u00e0 remettre une partie de sa r\u00e9colte \u00e0 deux autres producteurs lors de la prochaine saison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ainsi, de deux cents pionniers aujourd\u2019hui, ils seront des centaines demain \u00e0 pratiquer une agriculture respectueuse de la terre et de notre sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Fondation Hubi &amp; Vinciane le prouve : une agriculture durable est possible.
