The Foundation Hubi & Vinciane attaches great importance to your privacy and treats your personal information with care. All data collected through our website are obtained on a voluntary basis. What data do we collect?

In order to provide the best possible service to our customers, we collect the following personal data on our website:

  • Your name and e-mail address if you leave them on our contact form, when subscribing to the newsletter or when registering for an activity. In each communication (newsletter or invitation), you can easily unsubscribe and free of charge.
  • Your address when processing a donation for the creation of a tax certificate
  • Your IP address(es) when you visit our website
  • Information about your activity on our website
  • Your contact details
  • The Internet browser and the type of device with which you visit our site

Why are we collecting this data?

On the one hand, we collect information about you, such as your activity on our website, information about your location and the type of browser and device you use, to enable our website to function properly and ensure its ease of use for you. To do this, we use cookies (see below).

On the other hand, when you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter or participate in an activity, we keep your name and e-mail address to enable us to contact you again.

Who has access to your data?

The Foundation’s employees have access to your data to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and to keep you informed of its activities in Benin.

The Hubi & Vinciane Foundation uses third parties to carry out certain activities, such as the development and hosting of the website. We enter into a processing agreement with these third parties so that your data is treated with the same level of security and confidentiality as we do. If data is damaged or lost due to an error, Fondation Hubi & Vinciane cannot be held responsible. However, we endeavour to resolve this problem in cooperation with this third party in the shortest possible delay.

Personal data will not be passed on to other parties unless required by law or a court decision. All data will be processed within the EU.

How long will your data be stored?

The Hubi & Vinciane Foundation does not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are collected.

Each user and visitor has the right to request access to and consult his or her information. They can also see how their data is processed.

The user always has the right to have specific personal data corrected, supplemented or deleted after inspection.

Right to complain
The user always has the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for the Protection of Privacy if he or she believes that personal data is collected and processed unlawfully.
