Determined Adiza Gives Malnutrition No Chance

Kassa Adiza is convinced: the fight against malnutrition starts at home.

During sessions with the Hubi & Vinciane Foundation, she learned how crucial proper nutrition is. And she immediately decided to share her knowledge. Voluntarily.

With passion, Adiza reaches out to mothers and caregivers. She explains why balanced nutrition is essential. She shows how to prepare healthy porridge made with soy, sorghum, and corn. A small effort, big impact: babies regain their energy.

But Adiza doesn’t stop there. On prayer days, she takes advantage of the crowds at the mosque. She speaks to men, women, and religious leaders. Her mission? Engage the entire community in protecting children.

Women like Adiza make a real difference. Thanks to their dedication, child malnutrition in N’Dali dropped from 12% to 1.4% in just five years.

And Adiza isn’t alone. Another 140 “fighters” – mostly women – organize activities in their villages and associations.

Together, they’re fighting for a future free from malnutrition.
