Child malnutrition has dropped dramatically in N’Dali – from 12% to just 1.4%!
After five years of tireless efforts, the Hubi & Vinciane Foundation achieved this impressive result in N’Dali.

And we’re not stopping there: we’re now turning our attention to 30 new villages in Tchaourou, another rural region heavily affected by child malnutrition.
The new SaNuME Project (Mother and Child Health & Nutrition) will run for three years, through 2028. The program’s key priorities have already been presented to healthcare officials and municipal authorities in the Tchaourou health district.
In the third quarter of 2025, we launched a comprehensive baseline survey in 44 villages. Afterward, the 30 most affected villages will be included in the project.
Just like in N’Dali, we’ll focus on door-to-door visits with free screenings and comprehensive care within the community or at the hospital – with the Foundation covering 100% of hospitalization costs when referrals are needed.
We’ll also provide cooking demonstrations, home gardens, and specialized nutrition counseling. This way, we not only save the most severe cases but also prevent new ones.
Malnutrition will have no place in Tchaourou – the Foundation is making sure of it!
