Renovating for more efficient administration and better care

Thanks to our foundation, the administrative department of Saint Martin Hospital in Papané has now been fully renovated.

Before the renovation, the building was in very poor condition. It faced serious structural problems and a bat infestation. As a result, administrative processes were difficult, with a direct impact on the hospital’s operations and the working conditions of the administrative team.

Because a professional, well-organised hospital is essential to the local community, we decided to take action. We invested in a healthy, spacious, functional, and safe working environment where staff can once again work efficiently and with confidence.

Thanks to the support of our donors and partners in Belgium, we were able to finance 85% of the renovation work. This investment reflects our strong commitment to strengthening local healthcare sustainably.

At the end of 2025, the renovated building was officially inaugurated in the presence of representatives of our foundation. Together, we celebrated an important step forward for the hospital and the community.
