Ariziki strenghtens Women’s entrepreneurial power

With the Entreprendre au féminin program, the Ariziki Incubation Centre is fully committed to promoting the economic independence of women in northern Benin. Thanks to the support of the Hubi & Vinciane Foundation, APEFE, and local authorities, 100 women entrepreneurs have already received targeted support in 2025.

The ambition remains strong: in 2026, we aim to give an extra growth boost to one hundred businesses and help launch 25 new companies.

Close to Women, Focused on Opportunities

Ariziki deliberately chooses an approach that is closely connected to women’s daily realities. Staff members visit local communities to present the program and encourage women to participate.

A key component is the 100K Lab competition. Participants are given the opportunity to pitch their business ideas. The winners receive start-up capital of 100,000 CFA francs.

In addition, Ariziki organises the Village of Entrepreneurship, a mini trade fair where women present their products and services to a wide audience.

Growing with WIBOOST

Through the WIBOOST track, the program goes one step further. This growth pathway supports women entrepreneurs in developing their commercial activities.

A market tour through the region’s main commercial centres is scheduled in the near future. This gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to expand their networks and reach new customers.

An Ambitious 2026 Edition

The 2026 edition promises to be especially strong. With new tools and in partnership with the NGO Carrefour Jeunesse Afrique, the program will expand to the Mono Department, focusing on Comè, Lokossa, and Grand-Popo.

The goal is clear: to increase the program’s impact and further strengthen entrepreneurship as a driver of sustainable development.
