Run for Boko 7 – The Bénin Express Has Arrived

On Sunday, May 25, the nonprofit organization 5e Monde concluded the seventh edition of Run for Boko with a festive brunch in Ganshoren. Earlier this year, participants embarked on an adventurous journey through Benin under the name Bénin Express – a challenge that combined walking, biking, and running, inspired by the TV show Peking Express.

Over the past ten years, the organization has raised an impressive €100,000 and donated medical equipment through seven athletic initiatives, all in support of hospitals backed by our Foundation. It is a remarkable achievement, thanks to years of dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of community spirit.

During the brunch, excited participants and curious supporters enjoyed a warm look back at the most recent edition through a recap video. For many, it was a great chance to relive memories and look ahead to the next Run for Boko, scheduled for April 2026.

Our Foundation was also present to introduce attendees to the beauty of Benin and the ongoing projects we support there. A fitting conclusion to a meaningful and impactful initiative!
