Another significant step forward in our fight against malnutrition

Good news! The latest screening in December 2024 showed that our fight against malnutrition is bearing fruit.

After five years, we have been able to reduce the percentage of malnourished children under five from 12% in 2019 to 1.4% in 2024. With over 6,000 families in 48 villages in N’Dali and Tchaourou, we have been able to make a difference as a Foundation.

This success is the result of our various interventions:

  • annual mass screening campaigns for over 12,000 children
  • immediate referral and treatment of malnourished children, entirely financed by our Foundation
  • home visits with personal follow-up by our social workers
  • tailored advice and ongoing support from our nutritionists
  • cooking demonstrations to promote healthy eating using local ingredients

On the strength of these impressive results, we have decided to extend our reach to other villages in the commune of Tchaourou in 2025.
