The Hubi & Vinciane Foundation and the fight against malnutrition

The Hubi & Vinciane Foundation continues to work tirelessly in the fight against malnutrition. Our social workers screen hundreds of children each year and provide direct assistance where needed. In addition, our nutritionist, Eric, travels from village to village, teaching mothers how to create nutritious and affordable meals using local produce.

This video shows how Eric and our social workers make a difference together. Watch along.

The fight against malnutrition starts with sharing knowledge! The Hubi&Vinciane Foundation organizes cooking workshops in villages where residents learn to make nutritious and sustainable meals using local produce. In this video, we take a look at Raliyatou preparing the traditional dish “pètèpètè” – a delicious ragout of yam, rabbit and goat’s milk, based on a family recipe she learned from her grandmother. Everything is super fresh, as it should be!

Join us in this video as we visit the school in Kominguea, where the Hubi & Vinciane Foundation is making a real difference with its school garden project. These gardens provide students with healthy, nutritious meals made with fresh vegetables grown right on campus. But that’s not all! The students also learn how to grow their own fruits and vegetables – a valuable life skill for the future. Watch their enthusiasm and see how this initiative promotes better nutrition, education, and self-sufficiency.

At the Hubi & Vinciane Foundation, the fight against malnutrition starts with sharing knowledge. That’s why we organize cooking workshops in villages, where mothers learn to prepare nutritious and sustainable meals using local products.

In this video, we take you to the village of Korobororou, where Christine cooks daily for her large in-laws. Today she shows how she prepares a delicious corn puree with tomatoes, syrupy sauce and fish. Using the nutritious leaves of the moringa tree, also called the “miracle tree,” Christine makes the dish even healthier. Most of the ingredients come from her own garden, and for the fish, she makes a four-hour trek in the blazing sun.

Find out how simple, local ingredients can make a difference in the fight against malnutrition!
